Mrs.T called MVW Roofing to receive a free estimate for roofing replacement, due to some storm damage that occurred previously. When Mrs. Tonicia reached out to MVW Roofing about her home in Perry, Ga, her roof was showing signs of advanced wear, with widespread shingle deterioration and visible sagging near the porch. It was clear the roof had reached the end of its life and needed full replacement to restore the home's safety and appearance.

We began by removing the existing roofing down to the decking and back nailing the surface to ensure it was solid. Rotted sections were replaced, and Sealoron deck tape was applied to all seams to create a watertight barrier. We then installed Velora One synthetic underlayment for full moisture protection and added Sealoron Ice & Water shield in all vulnerable valley and flashing areas.

To reinforce edged, we installed new aluminum drip metal along all eaves and rakes, securing it with Sealoron XT tape. New Perma vent pipe boots and sidewall flashing were added, along with PVC board at the porch connection to ensure a seamless transition. The roof was then covered in IKO Dynasty shingles, fastened with ring shank nails for maximum holding power. We finished with the ridge vent system to improve airflow and topped it with matching ridge caps. The flat porch roof was sealed using modified bitumen to ensure durability.
